Microwave splatters are the worst!...or at least they USED to be. Did you know... If you have hard-to-wipe-up, dried splatters in your microwave, there is an easy way to clean them! Take a wet washcloth and microwave on high for up to 1 minute. Carefully remove (it will be very HOT!) and wipe off the splatters with ease! This is my favorite housekeeping tip!
Another tip...If you have a front loader washing machine and notice your clothes smelling a little funky, pour a little vinegar and bleach into the soap dispenser and run it through the "sanitary" cycle. Chances are you have a build up of detergent and fabric softener, thus creating that unwanted smell. This works!
Last tip for the day...(a great tip especially if you're getting ready to list your home and need it to look its best)... If your kitchen (or bathroom) cabinets are starting to look a little worn or dull, wash them down with warm, soapy water...clean them well...and then wipe them down with Old English. You get great bang for your buck with this one! You'll be amazed at the difference it makes for just a few dollars!!
Please share if you have any sure-fire secrets of your own!! :-)
