Lipstick on a Pig?
By:Sheryl ChinowthAccording to a 2010 study by Old Dominion University, homes with marketed improvements such as new paint or carpet, actually sell for less than homes that do not mention them. If a seller highlights new features, a cautious buyer may wonder why these items have been replaced - and if there are other things wrong. If you've made improvements, let potential buyers be pleasantly surprised.
